St. John's Memorial Prayer Garden: "Angelica's Garden"

Sunday Church School

We are committed to nurturing the faith of our younger generation. Our youth programs provide a safe and supportive space for children and teenagers to learn about the teachings of Jesus and build lasting friendships.

A Message from Pastor Bill

We have a new mission statement:

“To share God’s love in Christ in word and deed to a world in need.”

We seek to carry that out as we gather to worship each Sunday at 10:30am. We can be heard locally over radio station WLSH, 1410 AM and on the internet from all over by clicking on the link to that station. I am happy to report that our attendance is up during the last quarter.

Our Sunday School, which meets at 9:15am, helps our children and young people to grow in their understanding of the Bible and of our Christian faith.

We have begun a bi-monthly Bible study for adults entitled “Living with the Psalms”, which meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 7:00pm to study the Psalms that are assigned for the upcoming Sundays.

This past summer we were engaged in our annual massive clothing giveaway and are also heavily involved in providing food for the hungry in our community.

By the way, if you find yourself walking along the switchback trail, feel free to pause and meditate in our beautiful Memorial Prayer Garden, maintained by our Lutheran Mens’ Group.

We’d love to have you join us as we share God’s love in Christ in word and deed to a world in need.

 Blessings,

Pastor Bill
